DAYTON, Ohio -

In commemoration of its first anniversary, CarLocate.com introduced several upgrades to the site earlier this week.

As some may know, CarLocate.com is a vehicle search website under the Reynolds and Reynolds Co. that launched last year.

As far as the improvements made to the site, officials said there are more featured listings on the vehicle search results pages, and these listings are “more complete,” as well.

Moreover, the car research and vehicle detail pages now feature available models that meet similar criteria as the specific vehicle for which the consumer searched.

Also, shoppers can now make their search distance criteria be “nationwide” on all vehicles.

“CarLocate.com was built from the ground up to help you find the car that best fits with what you want to buy and how you want to buy,” stated Nicole Case, general manager of CarLocate.com.

“These latest enhancements are aimed at helping improve your vehicle search results and putting more car choices at your fingertips so that you can search more quickly and efficiently for your next new or used car,” Case added.

These improvements follow several upgrades the site made throughout the year, including the rollout of a mobile version, the Green Search eco-friendly vehicle-finder function and CarMatch, which notifies customers when vehicles meeting their search parameters are posted. Other upgrades this year have included a blog and a discussion forum.

“Buying a car is a major purchase that often involves a lengthy shopping process to identify the cars you might want to buy and, then, a similarly lengthy process to find and purchase the vehicle that meets your criteria,” Case continued.

“With CarLocate.com, our goal is to make your car shopping experience as easy, efficient, and enjoyable as possible. That’s why we’ll continue to add more car dealerships with more cars for you to choose from, as well as adding more resources and communication options,” she added.

“We want to help you not only make the best possible car-buying decision, but also find your ‘perfect match’ in the dealership you want to buy from and the vehicle you want to buy,” Case concluded.
