CarProof Strikes Deal with DMT
LONDON, Ontario — CarProof has teamed up with DMT Development Systems Group for a partnership that will bring the vehicle history report company's assortment of online marketing tools to DMT's e-Drive product suite.
Officials explained that DMT — a Web and software developer for the auto industry — works, for the most part, with automakers. In doing so, the company provides the franchise dealers of these specific automakers with OEM-branded websites, and has more than 250 websites for Canadian dealers.
In fact, it provides the websites for all of Canadian Volvo, Mitsubishi and Volkswagen dealers.
"CarProof is very pleased to unite with DMT. We recognize this alignment as an opportunity to solidify our relationships with our dealers," shared Paul Antony, president of CarProof.
"Thanks to DMT's vertical integration from OEM to dealer, this partnership facilitates a smooth process for assimilating CarProof information and tools into dealership websites and, more specifically, directly into their inventory listings," he continued.
Among the tools integrated into DMT's eDrive is lead-generation technology.
Scott McCrea, senior market development manager at DMT, added: "Existing DMT customers who are already CarProof members have been asking for this integration.
"Dealers already providing CarProof reports to consumers on their used-car inventory wish to be able to take advantage of the online marketing tools and functionality available to them through CarProof," McCrea continued.
"For all of our current and future clients, adding CarProof to our strategic offerings is a powerful value-add we now have to offer. With the Internet and electronic communications a driving force in today's marketplace, we see CarProof as a beneficial sales tool in the automotive arena," he concluded.
