CHICAGO -
Adding yet another certified pre-owned brand to its site, Cars.com will now carry the CPO listings of Mazda dealers throughout the U.S., giving these stores more exposure for their certified products.
Cars.com now has 31 brands in its CPO partnership network.
Certified Mazda models on the site will now include a manufacturer-certified logo so that they are easily spotted by shoppers when their search results pages pop up.
Cars.com includes guidance for shoppers about buying CPO as well as detailed information about specific brands’ certified programs. The site also can be used by shoppers to get in touch with dealers in their respective areas.
“Mazda’s CPO program makes it easy for customers to know that the certified 2007-2011 model-year vehicle they’ve chosen is as close to the quality and condition of a new Mazda as possible,” stated Eric Watson, group manager of remarketing and CPO for Mazda North American Operations.
“Partnering with the strength and reach of Cars.com provides greatly increased visibility to our dealers’ listings of CPO vehicles for serious in-market customers and makes it easier than ever to connect the right customer with the right CPO Mazda vehicle,” he continued.
Michael Page, vice president of advertising products at Cars.com, noted: “The marketing collaboration we’re seeing between innovative automakers such as Mazda and their dealers continues to drive impressive results at the local dealership level.
“Not only do these efforts strengthen the brand and edge CPO listings ahead of competing non-certified inventory, but they also position the stores to boost new- and used-car sales,” he added.
