CarWoo Passes Dealer Landmark, Announces Two Partnerships
CarWoo said Thursday that it has eclipsed a new landmark for the number of dealers tapping into online portal, and its network of dealers is still growing at a robust pace. The company also revealed two new partnerships, as CarWoo has teamed up with DriverSide and NADAguides.com.
Per these partnerships, these two websites will aid CarWoo in steering consumers to the online portal, which, as some may know, is designed to connect dealers to anonymous shoppers.
CarWoo facilitates online interaction between dealers and shoppers, giving consumers an avenue to negotiate and chat with dealers that is designed to be easy and comfortable.
The service is free for dealers, while there is a small fee for consumers.
“We view the relationship with CarWoo as a win-win for all parties. We are able to direct people to the best available car-buying experience when it is time to buy a new car,” said DriverSide chief executive officer Jad Dunning.
“CarWoo can stay engaged with their buyers throughout the entire lifetime of car ownership through DriverSide. The partnership gives car buyers and owners fantastic end-to-end experiences with all of their vehicles,” he continued.
Company Growth
Sharing more about the company’s growth milestone, officials noted that there are more than 5,000 dealers in the CarWoo network. The company contends that this sum equals 22 percent of the nation’s dealer body.
What’s more, CarWoo said it continues to add between 400 and 500 dealers each month. The dealers on the CarWoo platform are spread across all areas of the U.S. and all makes.
“We are thrilled by the enthusiastic acceptance of CarWoo by the dealer community,” McClung noted.
“Dealers are rapidly recognizing that CarWoo, unlike all other online buying services in the market today, allows dealers to engage with buyers in all the dimensions of the new-car-buying experience,” McClung added.
He further noted: “Through our experience with new-car buyers, we have discovered that the decision to buy a car is not based on a single factor such as price. Buyers elect to buy cars from dealers who interact well, who treat them as valued customers, who provide the vehicle that is a fit to the one they wanted and who are a comfortable distance from them.
“Then, buyers ultimately want to know that they purchased their vehicle at a fair price. CarWoo not only allows, but encourages dealers to engage with customers in all these areas, which has led to our dealer network growing quickly,” McClung shared.
Football Promotion
In other news from the company, CarWoo rolled out a new football-related promotion that began Tuesday and will run through Feb. 5, which is the day before the Super Bowl.
Under the "Countdown to The Big Game" promotion, shoppers using the CarWoo Plus online car-buying portal to purchase a vehicle will be entered to win a $1,000 rebate.
Buyers can punch in either “PackerWoo” or “SteelersWoo,” based on their projection for the winner of the game. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers are the two NFL teams vying for the Super Bowl title a little more than a week from now.
If a shopper happens to enter the winning team’s code and follows the other two steps, the person will be eligible to vie for the $1,000 rebate.
CarWoo will choose what it believes to be the five most creative entrants. These contestants will all receive the rebate.
The submission deadline for photos (for both the gift card and rebate) is Feb. 28.
“The Big Game is about being the best, and so is CarWoo,” said McClung.
