PORTLAND, Ore. -
Chrome Systems recently announced that its automated mapping Web service solution, BookLink, has signed on another provider that joins NADA and Black Book. Brought in to BookLink was Kelley Blue Book.
This allows BookLink customers to map between the data sets of Chrome and KBB in an efficient fashion. They don’t have to implement, host or update mapping tables to do so.
Users can tap into mapping capabilities all the way to the option level. They can also sort through option-level data from the 1999 model year onward.
“By including Kelley Blue Book information in Chrome’s automated mapping solution, we are helping customers gain insight to the used market,” stated Damon Bennett, who is KBB’s vice president of business development and partnerships.
“Giving financial institutions, Web publishers and dealers access to Kelley Blue Book’s data is a natural step in the evolution of our relationship with Chrome,” he continued.
Amit Maheshwari, general manager of DealerTrack Data Services, noted: “The addition of Kelley Blue Book makes BookLink the first truly complete source for used-vehicle valuation.
“BookLink users can now access all of the data they need to drive vehicle representation, accurate market pricing and profitability faster and easier than ever before,” Maheshwari added.
