NAMPA, Idaho -

Dealers Auto Auction of Idaho is commemorating its 10th anniversary with a two-day celebration later this month.

Starting on April 26, DAA of Idaho is planning a Casino Night and Poker Tournament with a small sale set for that evening.

The next day is when auction management plans to ramp up the festivities by giving away 50-inch televisions, $5,000 in cash drawings and other smaller prizes.

DAA of Idaho was founded in 2001 by Russ Smith, Jerry Gregersen and Mark Andrews in “basically an old warehouse.” Now the operation boasts five lines contained within 40 acres that’s near Interstate 84.

“It is amazing how quickly time passes. It seems it was just yesterday we were selling cars in a warehouse,” Smith shared.

“We are constantly trying to find ways to improve our business and trying to keep up with the times. Technology has greatly changed our business. We are set up with many of the online platforms to sell vehicles so we can sell in the lanes and online as well,” explained Smith, whose operation is connected with SmartAuction, OVE and OPENLANE.

Furthermore, DAA of Idaho handles consignment for Westlake Financial Services, Budget and regional dealer groups.

“I am truly grateful to our employees and customers for all of their support over the years. Without your support we wouldn’t be here today. I am blessed with wonderful partners and a supportive family. Thank you all,” Smith emphasized.

“Thank you again to everyone who has made these last 10 years possible and we look forward to serving you well into the future,” he concluded.
