Dealer Services Corp. of Indiana Names New CEO, President
CARMEL, Ind. — Dealer Services Corp. of Indiana made a few shifts in its management team recently, appointing Brian Geitner as chief executive officer.
Geitner, who was previously the company's chief operating officer, replaced John Fuller, who kept his role as chairman of the board.
Meanwhile, Marty McFarland, who had been the DSC of Indiana's chief financial officer, was named president.
All of these moves became effective Jan. 1.
"DSC has grown quickly and weathered the storms of 2007 and 2008. These moves reflect the strong achievements that Brian and the entire DSC leadership team have accomplished over the past five years," Fuller shared.
"The board and I look forward to working with Brian and Marty in their roles as they lead DSC through our 2010 schedule of initiatives," he continued.
Geitner said of his new position: "I am proud to follow John as DSC's next CEO because I know this company was founded on great principles. I am very excited about our current position in the marketplace.
"With our 2010 schedule of initiatives DSC will be changing the face of floor planning for the used vehicle industry," he added. "In addition to our Six*Points products and services 'Dealer Bundle,' DSC will be launching exciting new concepts like our Lender Access Network and our Lease Advantage Portfolio Program. I look forward to leading DSC to the next plateau with these exciting offerings as our launching point."
Commenting on McFarland being named president, Geitner noted: "Marty has been an integral part of DSC's success by managing our financing to support us operationally. As president, Marty will continue in his treasury duties and focus on creating additional capacity for DSC's lengthy 2010 initiatives and new product development."
