Dealertrack Joins GM Dealer Technology Assistance Program; Announces Upcoming Webinar

Dealertrack Technologies released a couple pieces of news this week, announcing it is participating in the new Dealer Technology Assistance Program (DTAP) for General Motors (GM) dealers, while also revealing an upcoming webinar.
As part of the GM DTAP — designed to support to certification of technology and services for use by GM and its dealers — the company’s DMS and CRM solutions are now certified technology options for GM dealers.
Commenting on the news, Sharon Kitzman, vice president and general manager of dealer management solutions at Dealertrack, said, “Our participation in GM’s new program will help GM and its dealers realize their vision for the seamless integration of systems and tools to deliver an exceptional dealership experience for its customers.
“This also continues to build on the solid partnership that Dealertrack has had with GM over the years,” she added.
The company also touched on an upcoming free webinar, titled, “How to Drive Your Website Visitors further into Your Sales and F&I Process with Digital Retailing.”
The webinar, which will be hosted by Jason Barrie and Ali Mendiolia, will cover online consumer shopping trends and the differences between “digital marketing and “digital retailing,” the company shared.
The hour-long webinar is scheduled for this Thursday at 2 p.m. EDT.
