ST. LOUIS -

Automotive cosmetic reconditioning firm Dent Wizard International this week announced a newly-created position, and the man for the job.

Promoted to the role of director of operations is Steve Carpenter, who previously served as regional operations director for Dent Wizard’s Southeast region.

In his new position, Carpenter will be involved in strategic planning as the company rolls out new services and geographic coverage under its Frontline Fast, Ding Shield and MINT brands, and in planning for new initiatives under consideration at the company.

Carpenter will report to Mike Black, Dent Wizard’s chief operating officer, and will continue to work from his office in Nashville, Tenn., the company said.

“Steve’s understanding of our business’ operational field and management structures will no doubt ensure his continued success as a valued, integral and trusted resource for our team,” said Black.

Carpenter’s career with Dent Wizard began in 1996 as a paintless dent removal technician; he retains the company’s Five-Star status, the highest certified level of proficiency for technicians.

Carpenter has also served as Dent Wizard’s auction services manager at Manheim Nashville and Manheim Tennessee, and in 2008 was promoted to regional auction manager, and later to regional operations director in Dent Wizard’s Southeast region.
