CARMEL, Ind. -
Dealer Services Corp. of Indiana said Monday it is now providing its dealer customers with a series of smartphone applications to allow them to complete various finance-related tasks while on the go, including tapping into floor planning services.
Dealers can also utilize DSC Unplugged for checking out titles and managing their accounts with DSC of Indiana. For example, they can use the DSC Unplugged app on the iPhone to pay a portion or the entirety of their loans.
It can be downloaded for free at the ITunes App Store for use on the iPhone.
“DSC Unplugged Mobile is a natural next step for our dealers,“ stated Brian Geitner, the company’s chief executive officer.
“I am proud to offer this free app as a standard with every DSC account,” he continued.
There is also an upgrade that dealers can tap into called DSC Unplugged Turbo. This must be done by subscription.
Through DSC Unplugged Turbo, dealers can utilize a slew of tools. Among these are a vehicle identification number scanner and market appraisal tools. Dealers can also pick from three valuation guides (Black Book, Kelley Blue Book and NADA).
By implementing these tools, dealers can scan, appraise, and determine the value of vehicles and then access floor planning from their line of credit.
“As we enhance our online virtual office, we will automatically bring those new features into their smartphones,” Geitner said. “Today’s DSC dealer is active, on the go, and always ready for business, just like DSC.”
