Steinlauf will oversee the business and “direct the company toward the goals of empowering the automotive consumer, maintaining the high quality of the workplace and building the company to thrive for the long term,” the company shared.

Steinlauf joined  Edmunds in the summer of 1998 as director of business development and has also headed up the company’s marketing and revenue management areas.

Before joining the company, he worked for Coopers & Lybrand’s Knowledge Strategies Group.

Lastly, Seth Berkowitz will now become president of the company, while retaining the title of chief operating officer. This expansion in duties includes wired and mobile website development, sales and other critical functions.

Berkowitz came to Edmunds.com in 2000 as general counsel after practicing law at Sullivan & Cromwell in the mergers and acquisition department.
