Executive Panel to Address Vehicle Sourcing Issues at AR Canada
Executives from some of Canada’s leading remarketing companies will be on hand at the 2011 Auto Remarketing Canada conference to provide their thoughts about sourcing vehicles in the wholesale market.
The panel, titled “New Technologies and Trends for Sourcing Vehicles in the Wholesale Market,” will take place on April 13, the second day of the conference, and will feature Cheryl Munce, vice president of strategy, online and business development for Manheim; Matt Rispin, general manager/owner at North Toronto Auto Auction; Peter Kelly, recently named chief executive officer at OPENLANE; and Trevor Henderson, vice president of eBusiness and business development at ADESA.
The conference, which is presented by CarProof, will take place April 12-14 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto.
In addition to the executive panel discussion, the conference will also feature panel discussions on a variety of topics relevant to the Canadian used-car industry, including certified pre-owned sales, best practices for advertising online and inventory management. In addition, a variety of workshops on the first day of the conference and repeating on the final day of the conference, will focus on topics including a franchise dealer perspective of the Canadian used-vehicle market, residuals forecasting and leveraging technology.

Early bird registration for the conference is US$795 and is effective through March 21. After that date, the registration fee increases to US$995. The special conference room rate at the Hyatt Regency Toronto is C$169/night and is available until March 28.
