LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. -

Along with an announcement about the completion of its latest acquisition, DealerTrack revealed on Thursday that it received the endorsement from a state dealer association.

Officials highlighted the Virginia Automobile Dealers Association has endorsed DealerTrack’s Sales and F&I, Inventory Management and Electronic Vehicle Registration solutions for use by Virginia dealerships.

The DealerTrack solutions and services recommended by the association include the company’s desking, electronic menu and contracting tools, its industry leading credit application network, and its compliance solution.

The company’s entire inventory management solution, its dealer website service, and electronic vehicle registration and titling service were also endorsed by VADA.

“DealerTrack and its solutions have proven themselves at numerous Virginia dealerships over the years,” said Donald Hall, VADA’s president and chief executive officer.

“We feel that these solutions and services from DealerTrack will help any Virginia dealer better manage and increase their business,” Hall continued.

DealerTrack chairman and CEO Mark O’Neil added, “This endorsement is a testament to the fact that DealerTrack’s solutions can help dealerships improve overall efficiencies, resulting in more sales and better customer experiences.

DealerTrack reiterated that it is an active participant in dealer associations throughout the United States and Canada, including being a regular featured participant at state association conferences and 20 Group sessions.

In addition to VADA, DealerTrack executives pointed out their solutions and services have been recommended or endorsed by nearly one-third of all dealer associations and organizations across the United States.

DealerTrack Completes Acquisition of 1st Auto Transport Directory

In other company news, DealerTrack announced that it completed its acquisition of 1st Auto Transport Directory, a Web-based network for arranging vehicle transportation and shipping.

DealerTrack indicated the financial impact of the 1st Auto Transport Directory acquisition will be discussed as part of its second quarter earnings conference call on Tuesday.
