Kinetic partners with CarMax to provide floorplan financing for auction purchases
Buyers at CarMax Auctions now have a new option for financing their purchases.
Kinetic Advantage, an independent floorplan company for independent dealers, has partnered with CarMax to provide dealer floorplan financing at its auctions.
“CarMax is recognized as one of the premier, dealer-friendly auto auctions in the country,” Kinetic Advantage president and CEO Marty McFarland said. “We are excited to move forward with this partnership built on trust and exceptional customer service and provide our dealers with another tool to maximize success.”
Kinetic Advantage dealers will be able to use their credit lines to pay for vehicles at more than 900 total auction sources. Kinetic Advantage said its floorplan includes no up-front audit fees, flexible terms up to 180 days and a collaborative partnership.
Fred Stark, CarMax’s assistant vice president of auction services operations and customer experience, said the full integration with Kinetic Advantage “will allow us to seamlessly manage the floorplan requests from our mutual dealers.”
CarMax Auctions said its weekly online dealer-only auctions have a 95% sales rate, and an average of more than 500,000 vehicles sold per year. CarMax offers a free seven-day arbitration window for certain unannounced conditions on every purchase.
