NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

One of the presenting sponsors of this year’s Re3 Conference — Primeritus Financial Services — also enjoyed a record turnout for its second annual agent partner event on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12 in the Music City.

During its first agent event a year ago, Primeritus indicated more than 100 attendees came to the company’s headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. This year, the company said the event drew an attendance level twice as large as the inaugural session.

Primeritus chief executive officer Chuck Tapp said, “We were very excited to have such a large turnout this year. By doubling last year’s attendance, it gave us the opportunity to show even more of our agent partners how much we truly appreciate their efforts and hard work.

It was fun to entertain all the attendees during the two-day event and thank them for their partnership. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event,” Tapp continued.

Primeritus had several functions over the two-day span, which included tours of its new facility, a welcome reception for agent partners and key Primeritus associates, presentations at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, chartered shuttle buses for attendees, and a grand finale in downtown Nashville.

In addition to all of those functions, Primeritus had several sponsors in attendance to provide their agent partners more avenues to potentially increase their profitability and performance.

Among the sponsors for the event were:

— MBSi
— WCI Insurance Services (formerly the Walt Cagley Insurance Agency)
— MVTRAC
— Austin Insurance
— KeyNET

“Our agent partners play a vital role in our success,” Primeritus general manager and vice president Justin Conners said. “As good partners, we feel we can hopefully return that favor by having exhibitors at our event to provide more resources to help the agents be more successful.

“It’s the right thing to do and we’re glad to be able to do it. We’re always eager to help all of our partners succeed,” Conners added.

The event was coordinated by Keith Baggett, Primeritus vice president of industry relations.

“We feel this event was a huge success for us and our agent partners. I’m thankful that we had this opportunity to sit down with over 200 attendees and thank them for being good partners to us and our industry as a whole,” Baggett said.

“I’m especially pleased to see how our event grew compared to last year, which I think mirrors our success here,” he went on to say. “We, too, strive to grow and become better year over year and we can’t do it without the support of all of our partners.”

Primeritus also shared the event assessment from several sponsors and attendees, including:

— Greg Ward and Richard Reyes of MBSi: “The need for industry leaders to collaborate and foster the sharing of best practices has never been greater. In order to provide solutions for financial companies and also offer a competitive edge for the service provider requires forward thinking. MBSi Corp. would like to thank Primeritus for providing a platform for us to share our vision with their partners. We were glad to speak to the benefits of both of our newest products, Repo Ninja and Compliance Made Easy. We really enjoyed the event and the opportunities it provided us and the industry as a whole.”

— Bob Langner and Shane Foster with WCI Insurance Services: “It’s important for agents to have insurance options and we hope our attending the event gave agents that and more. We would like to thank Keith Baggett and the entire Primeritus team for including us as an event partner. They really went to great lengths to put together such a beneficial event for all of their partners and our industry.”

— Rob Austin with Austin Insurance: “Several of our customers were in attendance at the event. With Nashville being so close to our home office, it was a real pleasure to be able to drive down for the event and reconnect with them while meeting potentially new customers. We appreciated the opportunity to be part of the Event and we look forward to providing a valuable service when it comes to meeting the repossessors’ insurance needs.”

— Joe Villano with KeyNet: “Due to prior commitments, we were unable to attend but we were happy to be one of the sponsors for the event. Every agent out there has had to make a key for a vehicle at some point in time and we’re the solution for all of their locksmithing needs. We were pleased to have fielded so many calls not only during the Event but afterwards as well. We welcome being a partner to Primeritus as well as the repo industry.”

— Luke Smith with MVTRAC: “As a concierge to forwarders, MVTRAC was able to demonstrate our appreciation by really listening to the agents to get a better understanding of their needs. We were able to have some valuable discussions on how our patented ALPR system called The Intelligent Data Network truly maximizes the potential for agent success through instantaneous technology integrations. We truly appreciate Primeritus for hosting and inviting MVTRAC to the event and look forward to returning in the future. The value behind an event of this magnitude with over 200 agents was immediately evident through the development of stronger relationships, and will continue to grow in value in the coming months.”

To show more appreciation to all of the event sponsors, Primeritus will be adding the sponsors’ links to its website in the near future.

Primertis also will have a major presence at the Re3 Conference, which comes at the midpoint of Used Car Week. Tapp will be part of panel discussions at the event that brings together experts and thought leaders from the repossession, recovery and remarketing industries.
