Gettel Automotive has expanded its Florida holdings by acquiring Stadium Toyota in Tampa from the Parks and Couey families.

Kerrigan Advisors, which represented the sellers in the transaction, announced the sale in a news release.

The dealership is ranked among the nation’s top 10% of Toyota dealerships and has earned numerous awards for its sales and service, including the Toyota Board of Governors Award, the Customer Relations Excellence Award, the Toyota Service Excellence Award, the Toyota Parts Excellence Award and the J.D. Power Outstanding Sales Experience Award.

It is a six-time winner of Toyota’s President’s Cabinet award winner, which recognizes just 12 of the automaker’s 1,200 U.S. dealerships.

“We’re very thankful for everything the greater Tampa community has done to help Stadium Toyota, its employees and customers achieve success, which is why we have always been committed to giving back to our community in every way that we can,” Stadium Toyota president Ron Parks said.

Bradenton-based Gettel Automotive operates 20 dealerships in its home state. The location has been renamed Gettel Stadium Toyota.
