McLEAN, Va. -

NADA University recently announced it has gained two new partners.

Joining the organization in its efforts to help dealers operate at the top of their game are The Greater Louisville Automobile Dealers Association (GLADA) and New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association (NHADA).

They both have initiated all-encompassing new partnerships with NADA University to provide their members with 24/7 access to the industry’s leading online training programs, officials explained.

And the GLADA also shared its own reasoning for joining with NADA U.

GLADA will be leveraging the resources of NADA U to launch a new education initiative for dealers in the Louisville, Ky., metro area, officials noted.
And further explaining how they will achieve this, the GLADA will be purchasing the comprehensive NADAvt subscription on behalf of its members.

“NADAvt is the industry’s most complete training package, including NADA U’s Learning Hub collection of online interactive courses, as well as on-demand instructional Webinars and two years of workshops from the NADA/ATD Convention & Expo — all of which are complete with tracking and measurement features to ensure accountability,” officials explained.

And Scott Roth, GLADA president, also offered his opinion on the new partnership: “This is all about bringing value and best practices information to our dealer members, and there’s no other educational service that can do that as well as NADA U,” he stressed.

Greg Daunhauer, GLADA chairman, added that the early response by the association’s members to the new NADA U partnership has been “very enthusiastic.”

Moreover, he expects many dealers will take advantage of these resources and put them into practice at their stores, officials noted.

And moving on to highlight NHADA’s new alliance, this association is one of the the first state or metro auto dealer associations to use the NADA U platform to host its own educational materials, the organization noted.

And “both national and local training resources covering all areas of the dealership business are becoming widely available to its members with one-stop access in NADA U’s Resource Toolbox,” NADA U explained.

“This gives dealers in our state an easy way to tap into exactly the kind of current and relevant information they need to pave the way for long-term success,” said Peter McNamara, NHADA president.

“Many of our members are concerned about staying compliant with all the rules and regulations, for example.  Now, by having quick access to all the updated information they need on key regulatory and legal requirements, that’s much easier to accomplish,” he continued.

And what is the reasoning behind these associations’ new partnerships?

McNamara, Roth and Daunhauer all referenced  the “industry’s post-recession recovery and growing optimism about the future” as key factors in their associations’ renewed focus on training and education, which led to their partnerships with NADA U, officials noted.
