AVOCA, Pa. — Guardian Warranty Corp., a provider of service contracts to independent and franchise dealerships nationwide, recently broadened its warranty coverage offerings.

Executives contend dealers can gain significant return through GWC's new Ultra and Ultra Wrap Exclusionary Programs. They insist dealers now can offer powertrain all the way to true "bumper-to-bumper" extended coverage on new and used vehicles.

The addition of the new levels of coverage brings GWC's suite of vehicle protection plans to five: powertrain, standard and comprehensive along with Ultra and Ultra Wrap Exclusionary Programs.

GWC noted that one of the most anticipated benefits included in the new Ultra Wrap Exclusionary Plan is the technology package featuring extensive sensor coverage.

However, the company pointed out this technology package is also available on GWC's comprehensive plan.

Along with highlighting the two new programs, executives mentioned several other enhancements they've made to the comprehensive plan. They include increasing coverage benefits by 50 percent while lowering dealer cost. Some of the enhancements were rental car coverage as well as travel and lodging reimbursement.

"With these additions, GWC now provides a full line of extended warranty products to fill every dealer's needs, giving them even greater flexibility in designing an extended warranty plan package tailored to their customer," executives emphasized.

Rob Glander, GWC's president and chief executive officer, elaborated about how the company's 15 years in the industry played a significant role in how the operation aligns dealer offerings.

"At a time when service contract providers, finance companies and the automotive industry in general are raising prices and providing less, GWC is decreasing its prices and providing more," Glander declared.

"Our 15-plus years of experience in this market, along with our solid financial foundation, allow us to do this for our dealers," he concluded.
