Industry veteran Jay Hinchman named GM of America’s Auto Auction Las Vegas
America’s Auto Auction has selected Jay Hinchman as general manager of its newly acquired Las Vegas auction.
Hinchman has 25 years of experience in the auto industry, most recently as president of High Tech Locksmiths. He has also served as GM of ADESA auctions in New Jersey and Las Vegas, regional vice president of then-KAR Global’s Midwest and West auction operations, associate VP of remarketing for World Omni Financial Corp./Southeast Toyota Finance and VP of remarketing for Bank of America Auto Group in Long Island, N.Y.
“Jay’s deep industry experience and proven leadership capabilities make him an excellent fit for the role of general manager,” America’s Group CEO Chuck Tapp said in a news release. “We are confident he will make significant contributions to the future success of America’s Auto Auction.”
Hinchman said he is “honored” to take on his new role.
“I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place and driving the company’s continued growth and success,” he said.
America’s Group purchased DAA Las Vegas from McConkey Auction Group in June and renamed the location America’s Auto Auction Las Vegas. The acquisition gives AAA 38 locations in 19 states.
