IronPlanet Adds to List of Approved Service Providers
It was revealed last week that IronPlanet Motors has added another company to its network of approved service providers.
Joining the group is EquipmentEngine, which will provide IronPlanet clients with various recovery and storage services at its 200 locations throughout the U.S.
EquipmentEngine will offer IronPlanet customers such services as storage, diagnostic inspections, repairs, detailing, voluntary and involuntary repossessions and preparation for shipping.
“The value that IronPlanet delivers to our customers continues to strengthen,” stated Randy Berry, IronPlanet’s senior vice president of operations and services.
“While the majority of our customers sell directly from their location — eliminating costly transportation expense — we recognize that there are situations where fleet owners may need support in recovery, transportation and storage of assets,” he added.
“We are very excited to work with EquipmentEngine and to have the ability to bring their expertise and services to our customers. With our high volume of transactions we are experiencing, service reliability and expertise on a national scale were the key determining factors for us in the selection process and EquipmentEngine fits the bill very well,” Berry continued.
EquipmentEngine president Richard Henderson chimed in, noting: “I am very impressed with the rapid growth of IronPlanet’s auction business and their commitment to delivering a top-notch, comprehensive service set to all of their many buyers and sellers.
“IronPlanet has been a valued client of ours for some time now, and we are very pleased to expand our relationship,” Henderson concluded.
