PLEASANTON, Calif. -

IronPlanet Motors recently revealed its free mobile app, which allows buyers to use their iPhone and Android products to take care of their used-car and used-powersport purchasing needs.

More specifically, the app can be used to search for vehicles and customize these searches by segment or auction date. Users can also access inspection reports, add items to their “Watch List” and make bids. Additionally, the app allows users to watch live auctions and place bids in those sales.

“We are very excited to bring IronPlanet Motors to the hands of car, truck and motorcycle buyers,” said Steve Kendrick, IronPlanet’s managing director.

“IronPlanet’s app provides buyers mobile access to IronPlanet Motors’ auctions, inventory and exclusive IronClad Assurance,” he added.

The app also lets buyers know when they have either won or lost the bidding on a vehicle. Users are also provided a customer service team that can be reached via one-touch dialing.

Users can download the app for free at the iTunes Store or the Android Marketplace.
