Montway Auto Transport has reached a formidable milestone.

The third-party logistics brokerage and automotive transport company announced Tuesday it has completed 1 million customer deliveries.

In a news release, Montway said the achievement reflects its “evolution over the past 16 years and its position as a trailblazer in automotive logistics.”

Among all those shipments, there have been some notable and unique vehicles, the company said, including Tom Cruise’s Toyota LandCruiser, numerous Batmobile replicas and the dog van from Dumb and Dumber.

Montway was founded in 2007 as a basic brokerage, providing shipping services for local dealerships and auctions. The company said its growth accelerated as businesses noted the efficiency and cost savings it brought to auto transportation, and it began to serve private customers as well.

To meet its evolving needs, Montway introduced an online car shipping calculator with instant quotes for customers in 2009, and launched transportation management software for businesses in 2013.

Montway currently serves a diverse customer base that the company said includes online car buyers, individuals moving to new locations, seasonal travelers, digital nomads, motorcycle and classic car enthusiasts, and members of the military.

The company also offers transportation management tools such as the Montway Automation Portal for auto dealerships and groups, auctions, manufacturers, rental car companies, financial institutions, fleet management companies, corporate relocation providers and more.

Montway is Great Place To Work certified, reflecting an emphasis on employee satisfaction, in in 2023 was named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies for the fifth time.
