MVTRAC Appoints Advisory Board Director
PALATINE, Ill. — License plate recognition technology provider MVTRAC recently tapped an industry veteran to be the director of its 2010-2011 advisory board.
Named to the role is one of the owners of AZ Asset Recovery, Maria Olson. MVTRAC is asking Olson to facilitate communications, events, memberships and other board objectives.
MVTRAC established its advisory board in response to an increasing demand for recovery industry guidance covers standardization, professionalism and best practices that embrace new technologies and the ever-changing financial services environment.
The company's said this group of tenured recovery professionals is dedicated to promoting education and awareness about changes in compliance, professionalism and technology, including best practices and tips for successfully utilizing ALPR systems.
The board also is meant to serve as a sounding board for feedback from recovery agents about industry hurdles, needs and challenges, as well as suggestions for improvements that will strengthen the industry.
MVTRAC chief executive officer Scott Jackson said Olson will champion recovery industry professionalism for financial services institutions to foster greater credibility, business and trust. Jackson went on to point out it was Olson's unique combination of recovery and lending experience that made her the clear candidate for the position.
"In addition to running her own successful recovery agency, Maria's deep industry knowledge stems from her experience with leading auto finance companies such as AmeriCredit," Jackson highlighted.
"This combination of recovery and lending experience makes her uniquely qualified to lead the MVTRAC Recovery Agency Advisory Board, facilitating better communication between these two industry channels and promoting more successful opportunities for both," he continued.

Olson shared her upbeat enthusiasm about taking on the role.
