The NADAguides.com Car Finder is designed to allow shoppers to research new and used vehicles based on criteria specific to their needs, wants and lifestyle. Officials explained the tool can offer consumers the ability to view vehicles based on a single selection or any combination of search criteria including price, model year, make, body style, fuel economy, transmission, number of seats and drive train.

Upon each criteria selection, site officials said results with photos and details can be updated to make the experience as easy as possible for consumers aiming to narrow down their purchase decisions.

Site visitors utilizing the tool can select vehicles within the results for side-by-side comparisons — allowing them to further narrow their search.

Meanwhile, the NADAguides.com Compare Cars tool can allow shoppers to compare up to four new and used vehicles side-by-side while clearly presenting the differences between selected criteria.

Officials noted that comparison details include factors such as pricing, engine specifications, drive train, fuel efficiency, safety, comfort and convenience options, music and entertainment options, interior, exterior, wheels and tires and warranty information.

Furthermore, NADAguides.com believes the Compare Cars tool also can allow users to analyze the cost of vehicles beyond the purchase price using a five-year cost of ownership comparison. This feature can explain depreciation rates, fees and taxes, financing, fuel costs, insurance costs and expected maintenance. Additionally, consumers can examine a complete set of detailed interior and exterior photos, from front grills to cup holders, side-by-side across vehicles.

What officials think is another useful feature is the ability to compare NADAguides.com’s most researched vehicles to the consumer’s comparison group by simply clicking an add button and viewing the popular vehicle choices on the site.

“NADAguides strives to provide in-market car shoppers with intuitive tools that help to reduce the information clutter and get them to a place of confidence and decision making regarding new and used car buying,” stated Troy Snyder, director of product development at NADAguides.com.

“There is an overwhelming amount of information available to consumers regarding vehicle pricing, specifications, incentives, and more,” Snyder continued. “Our goal is to help consumers easily and efficiently narrow down their search, and make the process as exciting as it should be.  Our newest tools are designed with a personalized twist to get them to that place faster.”
