NCM Expands Online Data Analysis Tools for Dealer Groups
NCM Associates announced this week its information technology team completed development of an exclusive online operations analysis tool specifically for its clients with multiple dealerships and franchises.
Officials explained the Proprietary Dealership Heat Map is designed as a Web-based management dashboard represented as a series of dealership blueprints. The departments within each dealership’s blueprint are supposed to change colors according to the monthly performance as compared to NCM franchise Benchmark averages.
Like the NCM Dealership Heat Map for single-franchise dealerships, the company insisted a deeper dive into the operating performance of each department is designed to be a one-click process that can reveal a series of key performance indicator gauges.
Each gauge can allow the user to review the operational trends for that key metric by way of the Web-based Profit Trend Analysis report, which can reveal the dealership’s past 90-day performance against NCM Benchmark performers.
Noting that groups have operational complexities that would benefit from the Dealership Heat Map tool the company launched in February, NCM set its sights on a version that would help group executives and the dealerships’ managers to stay sharply focused on their individual and collective operating performances measured against NCM Benchmark data.
Officials pointed out development of the Proprietary Heat Map was completed in less than two months.
NCM president and chief executive officer Paul Faletti Jr. explained groups require a unique mix of expertise and information to manage multiple franchises, operational issues, and manufacturer requirements. So the Proprietary Heat Map solution is a value-added service offered at no additional cost to NCM clients.
“At NCM, we believe our fundamental responsibility is not necessarily to create more data, but to produce more effective, efficient, and useful information that dealers can use to make decisions to enhance the profitability of their operations.” Faletti insisted.
NCM has launched a series of online dealership operations analysis solutions in the past 12 months, adding to its suite of digital benchmark tools that includes Composite 2.0, Reality Check, Dealership Heat Map, FIDO and FIDO for Buy-Here, Pay-Here, the Web-based Profit Trend Analysis and Meeting in a Box.
