FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Looking at the company's outreach efforts, Nissan North American on Wednesday discussed the recent endeavors of its Nissan Foundation, which gave nonprofits throughout the U.S. a grand total of $578,500 in grants.

These nonprofits are located in middle Tennessee, northeast Texas, south central Mississippi and southern California, as well as the Atlanta, Detroit and New York metropolitan areas.

"The Nissan Foundation is committed to enriching people's lives in the neighborhoods where Nissan operates," shared Scott Becker, president of the Nissan Foundation. "The Foundation supports numerous educational programs that celebrate and foster appreciation for diversity while making a positive impact in the community."
During its 18-year history, the Nissan Foundation's donations to over 100 organizations have reached more than $4.5 million.
