The 2011 National Remarketing Conference, which will be held Nov. 16-18 in Las Vegas, has been adding new speakers to its agenda, and it was recently announced that the keynote panels for the first and second days of the conference have been finalized.

The opening day keynote, which will take place the afternoon of Nov. 16, is titled “What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been” and is sponsored by Mid-South Auction. The panel will feature insight and perspective from dealers, consignors and remarketers on the wholesale and retail used-car markets in 2011. Panel members include:

—Dan Kennedy, manager remarketing, GM
—Dan Heinrich, asset remarketing, AmeriCredit
—Gus Xamplas, director of remarketing, Donlen
—John Manchin, national fleet remarketing manager, Subaru

The second morning of the conference, Nov. 17, will open with a second keynote panel, titled “The State of the Used Car Industry,” and sponsored by ServNet. Panel members will discuss why successful retail pre-owned strategies and strong remarketing best practices are critical to the automotive industry. Panel members include:

—Jennifer Costabile, general director, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations
—Deborah Malinowski, vice president of sales, Santander
—Tyler Corder, chief financial officer, Findlay Automotive
—Randy Beil, vice president of remarketing, Chase

The 2011 National Remarketing Conference, presented by SmartAuction, is one of three conferences that constitute Auto Remarketing’s Used Car Week, a weeklong event that also includes the 2011 CPO Forum, presented by AutoTrader.com and the brand-new Re3 (Recovery, Repossession and Remarketing) Conference. All three conferences will be held at the Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas the week of Nov. 14-18.
