SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -

Polk recently revealed it is providing Internet lead conversion reporting to Autobytel, working together to create what they said is a solution that defines vehicle sales conversion rates for Autobytel leads.

The companies noted that the solution incorporates conversion reporting at a variety of levels. Those include OEM, vehicle segment type and those leads that are dealer-assigned.

“In today’s performance-driven automotive market, lead conversion metrics are required to demonstrate value and return on investment,” officials stated,

Autobytel and Polk went on to highlight that this solution can allow Autobytel to provide transparency in lead quality to its customers and establishes quantifiable metrics for return on investment.

The tool also is meant to enable dealers to better understand lost opportunity revenue and identify Internet lead competitors, helping them better align their follow-up strategies with customers.

In addition, the solution can provide key lead treatment metrics, including time-to-purchase data and competitive cross-shopping and associated purchase behavior.

“We are very excited about our relationship with a trusted partner like Polk and the power of their independent conversion reporting that has validated the high performance levels of our auto leads,” Autobytel president and chief executive officer Jeffrey Coats stated.

“By providing Polk lead conversion metrics to customers, Autobytel has taken another step in demonstrating high auto lead quality and providing actionable intelligence for our customers,” Coats added.
