Renovo Services Gains New President, COO & CIO
Renovo Services, a single-source solution provider of recovery and skip-tracing services, recently named a president and chief operating officer as well as chief information officer.
Kevin Flynn, Renovo Services’ chairman and chief executive officer, tapped Andrew Mahoney as president and COO. An industry veteran with stints at Alamo Rent-a-Car, JM Family Enterprises and most recently FLD, Mahoney is being tasked with helping standardize Renovo Services operations across its business units, including the company’s recovery operation, service provider network and skip-tracing.
Flynn highlighted that Mahoney brings considerable operations, automotive and financial services industry expertise to his new position. Mahoney began his career with Alamo Rent-a-Car where he spent 14 years in various management positions before ultimately leading the company’s fleet administration and sales efforts. He then became a vice president with JM Family Enterprises, including serving as an executive with the company’s major subsidiaries Southeast Toyota Distributors, World Omni Financial Corp. and CenterOne Financial Services.
Most recently, executives noted Mahoney served as president of FLD, the nationwide purchaser of automotive fleets from companies and governments.
“Andy is a great addition to our senior management team,” Flynn declared. “As we work to accelerate our growth strategy and extend our presence in the industry, Andy’s leadership, resources and track record will be a tremendous asset for us.
“We spent a great deal of time in 2010 building out our state-of-the-art propriety technology system,” Flynn added. “2011 is about investing in people and customer relationships, and Andy’s appointment is a central part of that strategy.”
Mahoney continued the point, saying “Renovo Services is transforming the way the vehicle transition industry operates and this presents me with both a challenging and rewarding opportunity.
“As the industry continues to evolve it will be my number one priority to ensure Renovo Services is a driving force for innovation, execution and customer excellence,” Mahoney stressed. “I look forward to working with the talented team at Renovo Services as we take this business to the next level.”
Meanwhile, Renovo Services also revealed it chose Lawrence Cecil as chief information officer to lead the company’s efforts to explore, build and deploy new technology platforms to improve efficiency and maximize customer experience.
Renovo Services believes Cecil is an accomplished executive in virtually all aspects of technology and application development with a heavy concentration in the financial services marketplace The company pointed out Cecil was previously a business partner in information technology for Nuveen Investments.
From 2001 to 2010, executives also mentioned Cecil served as executive director of distribution technology and global eCommerce solutions for Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he provided leadership and technical expertise to increase Morgan Stanley’s efficiency and customer relationship management strategies across multiple business units.
Furthermore, Cecil has also held management positions with Van Kampen Investments and the First National Bank of Chicago.
