AUBURN HILLS, Mich. –

Chrysler announced today that its dealers are kicking off an eight-day promotion that encourages select Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Truck owners to visit their local dealer for a test drive to receive a $25 gift card and a chance to win a new 2011 model.

The customers are targeted via a mixture of traditional direct mail, e-mail blasts, dealer site banners, product videos and personalized sites to generate traffic. According to the automaker, 1,965 dealers are participating in the promotion, which represents 86 percent of dealer body, or 94 percent of dealer volume.

Once at a store, customers with a redemption code can try the “Spin and Win” promotion for a chance to win a new 2011 model, worth up to $30,000.

The event begins today and lasts through March 23.

“This special Premiere Event allows us to showcase our all-new and significantly refreshed 2011 model-year lineup,” explained Fred Diaz, president and chief executive officer of Ram Truck brand and lead executive for U.S. sales.

“This is a golden opportunity to our customers to experience any model in our new product lineup, earn a $25 gift card doing so, and even have the chance to win a new 2011 Chrysler Group vehicle,” he added.

In concert with the promotion, the automaker is also offering several incentives, which were announced earlier this month, including $500 Bonus Cash on the 2011 Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Grand Caravan (excluding the Express model) and Jeep Wrangler models. Moreover, the automakers financial partners are also offering special financing incentives for those who qualify.
