An Alabama dealership has become a star when it comes to raising funds for charity.
Howard Bentley Buick GMC was presented with the Star Award for the most improved 2024-2025 workforce campaign by the United Way of Marshall County, for raising funds for the local community.
The dealership credited the leadership and dedication of its United Way campaign coordinators, Jon Conner and Jacob Hollingsworth, for a campaign improvement of more than 60% in total contributions and an 86% growth in employee participation, driving local impact by engaging all employees and emphasizing the work United Way does for the community.
“It’s amazing to be part of something that makes a real difference in so many lives,” said Conner, the dealership’s general sales manager. “We’re so proud of our team for stepping up and supporting United Way’s mission with an amazing per capita gift of $75-$124, reflecting the generosity and commitment of our team.”
Howard Bentley Buick GMC was also recognized as one of the top 10 contributing companies to the campaign.
“The work we do with the United Way of Marshall County, with our workforce campaign and hands-on volunteering during Day of Caring, is very special to us,” dealer principal Taylor Bentley Conner said. “We are making a difference where we live and work. I couldn’t be more proud of our work family at Howard Bentley.”
