Dealer news: Case makes sweet donation; Warren Henry’s Key acquisition; Penske closes deal Down Under
The taste of giving is sweet. Especially when you’re giving pie.
Rick Case Automotive Group president and CEO Rita Case and Broward Health president and CEO Shane Strum served pumpkin and apple pie to Broward Health staff during Thanksgiving week to celebrate the dealership group’s recent donations to the South Florida healthcare system.
Over the past few years, Rita Case and Rick Case Automotive have donated $210,000 to Broward Health to support healthcare initiatives, including the establishment of a new ECHO Lab at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale featuring echocardiography technology to provide detailed imaging of the heart and blood flow to assess and improve heart health.
“Extraordinary care, life-saving technology and high-quality services like those provided by the Broward Health system are so vitally important to our residents,” Case said. “We are passionate about giving back and always looking for opportunities to improve the health and well-being of our communities.”
Broward Health also unveiled the entry signage for the Rita and Rick Case Automotive Food Court to recognize their contributions.
“We thank Rita and the entire team at Rick Case Automotive Group for their unwavering support and remarkable contributions to our mission,” Strum said. “It’s because of the generosity of our donors, like Rita, that we are able to provide the newest technologies and continue to provide the highest quality care to our patients.”

“This expansion allows us to offer even more variety and convenience to our customers,” Keys Auto Center general manager Lee Holt said, “ensuring they have access to the best selection of vehicles and top-notch service right here in the heart of the Florida Keys.”
The acquisition, which gives Warren Henry Auto Group 11 locations in Florida representing 24 brands, is the company’s sixth dealership purchase in the past two years.
“The Kia of Key West acquisition represents our continued focus on growth and expansion within the automotive retail space,” partner and chief financial officer Erik Day said. “We are eager to share our expertise and customer-first way of doing business with new customers and communities.”
