Awards honoring dealers’ 2024 achievements have been announced, and two Ford dealerships in the West have reason to celebrate — again.
Castle Rock Ford in the Denver metro area announced it was selected for the Ford Motor Company President’s Award for the third consecutive year.
The dealership said the award recognizes Ford dealerships that prioritize excellence by surpassing sales goals, maintaining top-tier customer satisfaction and “demonstrating an unwavering commitment to success.”
Dealer principal Jose Medina said the award is “an incredible honor and a testament to the dedication of our entire team. At Castle Rock Ford, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service with a best-in-class experience, and this award reflects our unwavering commitment to our customers and community.
“We are grateful for the trust and support of our loyal customers and look forward to continuing to serve Castle Rock, the Denver metro area and the Colorado Springs area with excellence.”
Ford Motor Company said recipients of the President’s Award “must exceed customer expectations every day in every department. The pursuit of excellence requires passion, tenacity, and hard work. The award salutes those top-performing Ford dealerships that embrace these philosophies, achieving among the highest levels of customer satisfaction — in both sales and service — in automotive retailing.”
Power Ford in Albuquerque, N.M., was selected by Cars.com as the New Mexico Ford Dealer of the Year for the eighth consecutive year. The automotive marketplace’s award honors dealerships in North America that exceed customer expectations in service quality, transparency, speed and overall buying experience.
“Local dealerships are the backbone of the automotive industry,” Cars.com vice president of customer experience Jamie Oldershaw said. “Power Ford stood out among its peers by demonstrating exceptional responsiveness, transparency and dedication to superior customer interactions.”
Cars.com noted nearly 90% of its Dealer of the Year recipients actively engage with customer reviews, double the 45% rate among other dealerships.
Power Ford said the award highlights the dealership’s “investment in building trust through open communication,” evidenced by its use of Employee Profile Pages to create individual accountability and service excellence.
“Winning this prestigious Cars.com award eight years in a row is an extraordinary honor and reflects the unwavering dedication of our entire team,” Power Ford managing partner Rob Sneed said. “Our mission to deliver a superior customer experience is central to our success, and this award is a tribute to our exceptional staff and loyal customers.”
Tom Gill adds a second store in Cincinnati area
Tom Gill now has a dealership group.
The owner of Tom Gill Chevrolet in Florence, Ky., has added his second location with the acquisition of Fiehrer Buick GMC in Hamilton, Ohio from Tom and Dan Fiehrer, according to Performance Brokerage Services, which brokered the transaction.
Tom Gill Chevrolet, located just south of Cincinnati, was founded in 1996. Gill’s new addition gives him a location on the north end of the Cincinnati area.
Fiehrer Buick GMC, which has been in business since 1932, has been renamed Tom Gill Buick GMC.
