Swickard Auto Group has added a fourth Toyota dealership to its roster and expanded its presence near San Francisco.

The retailer said Wednesday it has purchased Toyota 101 in Redwood City, Calif., which has been renamed Swickard Toyota 101.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome the talented team at Toyota 101 to the Swickard family,” Swickard Auto Group president and CEO Jeff Swickard said in a news release.

“Their dedication to customer satisfaction and impressive track record resonates strongly with our vision. We are especially excited to continue their support of local community as this is very important to us at Swickard,” he said. “We look forward to building upon their legacy of excellence and serving the Bay Area community with the same dedication and care that is a cornerstone of the Toyota brand.”

Maryland dealers partner with Vitu for ERT

In other dealership news, the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association has chosen Vitu as its exclusive electronic registration and title (ERT) provider.

MADA had already endorsed Vitu Interstate for 50-state title and registration, National Title Exchange for nationwide E-Titling and fraud protection with Driver License Data Verification.

“One of Vitu’s core beliefs is that a deep partnership with every stakeholder is crucial to the overall success of the program. We are grateful to enter into a partnership with an organization that carries the same values,” Vitu chief strategy office John Brueggeman said in a news release. “In partnering with MADA, we see an opportunity to leverage our combined skills to support both Maryland dealers and our northern Virginia dealers with the reality of E-Titling as Vitu has successfully done in other states.”
