Georgica Auto Holdings acquires NY dealership from Group 1

Georgica Auto Holdings has acquired Kolb Subaru in Orangeburg, N.Y., just north of New York City, from Group 1 Automotive, according to Franchise Equity Partners, an investor in the company.
Georgica Auto Holdings, led by CEO Jon Sobel, has been expanding steadily through acquisitions and now operates 27 dealerships in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“Kolb Subaru represents an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our footprint in the Northeast,” Sobel said. “Our focus is on delivering exceptional customer experiences and optimizing operations, and with FEP’s continued partnership, we are well positioned to enhance our dealership network and drive long-term value.”
FEP said in a news release it has provided financial backing and automotive industry expertise to support GAH’s targeted growth.
“Jon and the Georgica Auto Holdings team have built a best-in-class automotive retail group, and we are proud to support its continued success,” FEP co-founder and managing partner Mike Esposito said. “Kolb Subaru is a great addition to its portfolio, and we look forward to seeing GAH’s ongoing momentum in the industry.”
