Trusted Sale’s certified vehicle inspections now included in CARFAX Vehicle History Reports
Here’s another way your certified inventory can look more appealing to potential buyers.
On Tuesday, Trusted Sale announced that its vehicle inspection reports will now be available within the CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
The companies said the vehicle inspection details that Trusted Sale captures will live indefinitely within the CARFAX Vehicle History Report for applicable vehicles.
Similarly, Trusted Sale vehicle inspection reports will contain direct links to the CARFAX Vehicle History Report, creating a seamless way for consumers to access these vehicle condition reports.
Trusted Sale enables dealers to certify used vehicles to meet “a new standard of reliability, which creates transparency and trust between dealers and buyers.”
As part of the vehicle certification process, Trusted Sale said that ASE-certified vehicle inspectors perform a comprehensive evaluation of the vehicle including mechanical, functional, safety and cosmetic.
After the inspection is completed, consumers can access the Trusted Sale Inspection Report that can help them better understand the vehicle’s current condition.
“By including Trusted Sale Inspection Report data in the CARFAX report, our companies are providing consumers with a singular, unparalleled view into the vehicle’s past and present condition, creating the most transparent used car buying experience,” Trusted Sale CEO Paul Brobson said in a news release.
CARFAX will display Trusted Sale Inspection Reports within its vehicle history reports under the detailed history section. Each section provides inspection data, location and a link to the full Trusted Sale Inspection Report.
In addition to the CARFAX Vehicle History Report, consumers can access the digital inspection report by scanning the QR code on the vehicle’s window sticker or from the dealer’s website.
“CARFAX is the trusted source of information for shoppers looking for their next car,” CARFAX general manager of data Faisal Hasan said. “The addition of the Trusted Sale Inspection Report to the CARFAX Report helps build consumer confidence by offering another reference point about the condition of a vehicle at a specific point in time. It’s a great compliment to the other information you find in a CARFAX Report.”
