VinFast’s US dealer advisory board holds inaugural meeting
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast Auto announced it has created a dealer advisory board consisting of representatives from the company’s U.S. dealerships.
VinFast, which currently has 25 dealerships in 10 states, said it selected the board’s members based on customer service commitment and industry expertise. The board will serve as a communication channel between the automaker and its dealers.
The board consists of David Coyle (Leith VinFast, Raleigh, N.C.), David Sansing (Sandy Sansing VinFast, Pensacola, Fla.), Elie Hanna (Hannah VinFast, Bradenton, Fla.), Damian Mills (VinFast Triad, Greensboro, N.C.) and Bill Auffenberg (VinFast Katy, Katy, Texas).
“Their experience and dedication are invaluable assets as we continue to expand our presence in the U.S. market,” VinFast vice president of sales and marketing David Duncan said in a news release. “We look forward to fostering a collaborative environment where we can learn from each other and work together to deliver an exceptional customer experience.”
The group met for the first time with VinFast leadership on Wednesday in Los Angeles to discuss topics such as dealership sales and service best practices, warranty program optimization, future product planning and market trends, competitive sales program development and other business initiatives.
“VinFast is a company with a bold vision for the future of mobility, and I am excited to contribute to their success,” Coyle said. “This board represents a great opportunity for open communication and collaboration, ensuring VinFast remains at the forefront of the EV market.”
