Reynolds Blends Experian’s AutoCheck Plus into POWER DMS
DAYTON, Ohio, and SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Reynolds and Reynolds and Experian Automotive announced this week that AutoCheck Plus vehicle history reports now have been integrated into the POWER dealership management system.
Company officials highlighted that now dealership personnel can review AutoCheck Plus Reports from any POWER workstation. They stressed that easy access to vehicle history reports can provide dealers with up-to-date title and history information, boosting inventory and marketing management.
"Vehicle history reports are a proven tool in helping dealers make the best decisions about which cars to offer to their customers based on factors that affect a car's resale value," explained Jon Strawsburg, vice president of product planning at Reynolds.
"The advantage of AutoCheck Plus is the automated access to the reports. With this improvement in the POWER DMS, dealerships will have these reports at their fingertips, which will enable them to more consistently use the information to make decisions about which vehicles to offer for sale to their customers," Strawsburg continued.
"This solution eliminates the time — and keystrokes — to run these reports manually," he added.
Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive, also emphasized how this partnership with Reynolds benefits dealers. Waldron insisted that part of Experian's offerings, the AutoCheck Score, has two times the number of reported accidents than the competing vehicle history provider.
"In addition to the dealer need to run vehicle history reports, consumers have come to demand a vehicle history report for every used vehicle they are interested in purchasing," Waldron pointed out.
"We're pleased to work with Reynolds to eliminate the manual steps for running AutoCheck vehicle history reports so that dealerships can more quickly and easily provide these reports to their customers from screens within the POWER system or in a printed report," he added.
