Reynolds Extends Exclusive DMS Agreement with BMW Canada
DAYTON, Ohio — Under its recently extended partnership with BMW Group Canada, Reynolds and Reynolds will remain the exclusive provider of dealership management systems and other related services and products to the entire Canadian BMW and Mini dealer body.
Reynolds and BMW Canada began their exclusive partnership in 2001. Officials said 40 BMW and 26 Mini dealers throughout the country are currently served by BMW Canada.
"The entire Reynolds Canada team is extremely proud of this relationship and the opportunities we have to contribute to the success of BMW in Canada," said Alain Sabbah, vice president of sales for Reynolds and Reynolds Canada.
"Especially as the industry recovers from the recent downturn, we expect to build on this foundation as we continue to help BMW and MINI retailers in Canada serve their customers more effectively and profitably," Sabbah added.
As part of the deal, BMW Group Canada will continue providing the Reynolds ERA DMS exclusively to its entire BMW and Mini dealer base, which will also be offered a dedicated, toll-free support number at the Reynolds Technical Assistance Center, a dedicated support team, and comprehensive reporting of DMS of activity through the entire dealer network.
Sabbah pointed out that the ERA system has helped BMW Canada create highly streamlined retailer-to-manufacturer communications in the Canadian market.
"We're pleased to have played a role with BMW in reaching this level of integration, which yields real benefits for BMW, their retailers, and BMW customers," Sabbah shared. "We look forward to working with BMW to help sustain this leadership."
Reynolds said it remains the sole DMS provider in Canada that has exclusive OEM partnerships.
