Reynolds Rolls Out New Tool to Help Dealers Better Manage Online Specials
On Monday Reynolds and Reynolds Co. announced it has launched a new, special tool to help dealerships manage online specials. There is a small hitch: The dealer sites must be from Reynolds Web Solutions.
Officials said the first phase of the Special Administrations tool is designed to upgrade the look and feel for more intuitive use, in addition to allowing dealer personnel to access more usability features, according to officials.
"The ‘Specials' page on a dealership website is the second most-visited page by consumers," stated Trey Hiers, Reynolds' vice president of corporate marketing.
"Dealers recognize that it's critical to keep this page fresh and up-to-date in order to present consumers with the most attractive and current offers available at the dealership," Hiers added. "With the enhancements we've made to the Specials Administration tool, we're enabling dealers to make changes to their online specials page faster, easier and more conveniently than ever before.
"This frees dealership personnel to focus more on the customers who want to take advantage of those specials," he continued.
Continuing on, officials also noted that dealers whose websites were built by Reynolds also have the choice to put a toll-free call-tracking number on their sites. Callbright is providing these numbers.
"In our experience, for every consumer lead that comes in from a Web form on the dealership's website, the dealer receives approximately three to four telephone calls from consumers," Hiers stated. "Now, with the addition of a free Callbright call-tracking number on the dealer's website, the dealer will be able to know specifically the number of phone calls generated by their site and more accurately measure the value they are getting from their online presence."
Hiers continued: "Over the past 18 months, we have delivered a steady stream of improvements in our dealership websites, as well as in the tools dealers use to manage their sites. All of these enhancements have a single goal — to help dealers attract more customers to their products and services to increase a dealership's overall sales and profitability."
