Rusnak Auto Group Appoints New President & CEO
The Rusnak Automotive Group announced its new president and chief executive officer this week, naming former chief operating officer Victoria Rusnak to the role.
Paul Rusnak, founder of the group, will continue with the company as chairman of the board.
Victoria Rusnak, a licensed attorney who holds a business degree from the University of Southern California, a law degree from Gonzaga University and a master’s in law from George Washington University Law School, joined the privately held, family-based auto group in 2006 as COO.
Over a four-year period, she spearheaded the growth of a professional management team, and implemented state-of-the art technologies to increase profitability throughout the group’s dealerships.
The company said she has also assisted with dealership acquisitions and facility improvement projects, maintained high standards of ethics and compliance throughout all departments, and led the effort to create The Rusnak Standard, the company’s internal and external mission statement designed to communicate its positioning within its markets.
In 2008, Rusnak completed the NADA General Dealership Management Program, and following year was appointed by the governor of California to the New Motor Vehicle Board, which provides oversight of new automotive retail dealers and manufacturers.
“I am honored to assume the role of president and CEO and be able to lead the successful and highly reputable organization my father, Paul Rusnak, has built over the past 50 years,” said Rusnak.
“My vision is to grow upon the company’s foundation through acquisition and creative market positioning,” she said. “I look forward to working with our team to fulfill our promise of offering a wide range of luxury automobiles while providing the best customer experience throughout a vehicle’s lifecycle.”
