COLUMBUS, Ohio -

Safelite Solutions has named its new national account manager of auctions from within the company, tapping a longtime leader in auction operations.

Announced this week for the position is the promotion of Eric Ramsdell, who has worked for Safelite for more than a decade.

Ramsdell began his career here in the company’s contact centers, then moved into key client support and service positions. Most recently, he held the position of government and auction coordinator.

Company officials said Ramsdell has been “instrumental” in supporting Safelite’s auction operations during the past four years.

“His knowledge and understanding of the auction segment along with his knowledge of our client relationships made him the natural choice for filling this position,” said Jon Cardi, Safelite vice president of client sales and support.
Ramsdell will take over the position from Roger Church, the company said, who has moved to national account manager for the insurance segment.
