SOCIALDEALER Launches New Mobile Facebook Tool for Dealers of All Sizes
SOCIALDEALER — a social media management company out to help dealers create, manage and monitor their social activities through one centralized Web platform — introduced a new tool for Facebook.
On Wednesday, SOCIALDEALER announced it now offers dealerships the ability to create and buy mobile sponsored-story placements from Facebook.
Officials mentioned the service offering comes on the heels of Facebook’s own announcement that any size company can now send sponsored stories to mobile users of Facebook; the service was previously only available to large companies with fans of 500,000 or greater.
SOCIALDEALER said the change in policy means Facebook mobile ads are open to a much larger pool of advertisers with any size budget. The company thinks dealerships large and small can now target mobile Facebook users — what SOCIALDEALER contends is an important distinction when more than half of Facebook’s 900 million users access the social network through a mobile device.
“By Facebook offering mobile ad capabilities to companies of any size they’ve essentially opened up close to 500 million prospects to dealers,” said Phil Penton, president of SOCIALDEALER.
“We pride ourselves on being first to market with the newest social media trends and this offering is no exception,” Penton continued. “We’re ready to get dealerships of any size in front of targeted mobile consumers on Facebook ready to buy, today.”
SOCIALDEALER says it was one of the first automotive social media companies to manage Facebook ads for dealers. Penton emphasized that’s made the company a proven leader when it comes to targeting Facebook fans.
“The possibilities with mobile are endless,” Penton considered. “Just one example is using mobile ads to market service specials to reach people on-the-go, many of whom will be in their vehicle at the time.
“This policy switch blows the doors wide open for dealerships marketing on Facebook. We couldn’t be more excited to help them get started,” Penton went on to say.
