SANTA MONICA, Calif. -

The grades are in, and Subaru is at the top of the OEM class in TrueCar.com’s Performance Scorecards for May.

Released Friday, the rankings grade each manufacturer and brand on eight different measurements including pricing, sales, incentives, customer loyalty, market share and days in inventory.

Subaru earned an A+ to steal the top spot from BMW’s April ranking. For May, BMW tied with Hyundai for second place among manufacturers as Jaguar/Land Rover took third.

Earning the lowest ratings among OEMS were Mitsubishi, Mazda, Suzuki and Volvo.

Manufacturers showing the largest overall scoring gains from April 2012 to May 2012 were Toyota, Hyundai, Subaru, General Motors, Honda and Nissan.

Showing steepest declines in OEM rankings during the same period were BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Volkswagen and Porsche.

In terms of brand rankings, BMW and Land Rover tied for the first spot in the TrueCar.com analysis, each earning an A+.

Audi, Fiat and Hyundai shared second place in a three-way tie.

The brands with the lowest grades were Volvo, Suzuki, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Jaguar and Porsche.
