BSC America’s Tallahassee Auto Auction recently wrapped up construction of a 10,000-square-foot mechanical and reconditioning facility that it says will allow the auction to process as many as 400 units each week.
The auction has expanded its existing lot by five acres to build the new mechanical and reconditioning facility, which includes two mechanic bays with lifts as well as reconditioning bays.
Officials indicated that the design and equipment of the new shop is state-of-the-art.
"We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new mechanical and recon facility. This is an important part of our ongoing efforts to provide the very best in auction services to our customers," stated Charles Nichols, BSC America president. "Our customer base continues to grow, with the addition of more new and used car dealers in the region as well as increasing consignment from national accounts."
Tallahassee AA general manager Doug Rodriguez added, "Our customers count on us for a full range of auction services, provided on-site to minimize the all-important days to sell. We determined that expanded mechanical and recon services would best benefit our customers in this market."
