Autosoft owner Veon to step away from CEO role; COO selected as successor
Autosoft’s owner is stepping down from his role as CEO.
The dealership management system technology provider announced Bryce Veon, the sole owner of the family-owned and operated company, will transition out of the top leadership position, effective in February.
Anthony Belcher, who joined AutoSoft in April as chief revenue officer and moved to chief operating officer in October, has been selected to replace Veon as CEO.
The company said Veon will assist Belcher with the transition and will remain closely connected with the business, continuing to nurture relationships with its customers, OEMs and industry partners.
“I am extremely pleased that Anthony will be the next CEO of Autosoft,” Veon said. “Over the time I have worked with Anthony, he has proven to be dedicated to the success of Autosoft and our customers. There is no one better suited to lead us into the future, as we are well-positioned to execute on our strategy and now is the right time for the transition I have planned.”
Belcher has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in the software and automotive industries, including stints with Velocity Automotive Solutions and NCC.
AutoSoft said he’s “known for his ability to rebuild company cultures from the ground up,” with “a proven track record of driving revenue growth, optimizing business performance and fostering team excellence.” His expertise includes P&L management, market penetration and strategic planning, the company said, with a focus on improving business efficiencies and eliminating ineffective processes.
“I am honored to step into the role of CEO at such a pivotal time in Autosoft’s journey,” Belcher said. “With its incredible history and steadfast commitment to empowering automotive dealerships, I look forward to building on the company’s strong foundation and driving value for our customers and stakeholders.”
Autosoft, founded in 1988 by Veon’s father in the family’s garage, now serves more than 1,300 dealers nationwide, offering integrations with 35 OEMs and more than 220 third-party systems.
