CarNow has named a senior vice president of engineering, who will head up software development and operations.

Hired for the role is Dan Jemiolo, who was vice president of engineering for the user interface platform at Salesforce. Jemiolo was also the founder and site executive of the company’s research and development office in Raleigh, N.C.

His background also includes times with IBM and Dell EMC.
