HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. and ATLANTA -

CDK Global said it has signed a deal to purchase ELEAD1ONE, a provider of CRM and call center solutions.

The agreement, which was approved unanimously by CDK’s board, was officially announced Monday; The Banks Report publication reported the deal on Sunday.

“As we looked at how best to rapidly address the needs of dealers in today’s evolving marketplace, we determined that ELEAD1ONE’s centerpiece CRM offering and fully integrated suite of layered applications fit well with our diversified product offerings,” CDK president and chief executive Brian MacDonald said in a news release.

“In addition, ELEAD1ONE’s well-regarded customer service capabilities will complement our focus on delivering an outstanding experience to its dealer customers,” MacDonald said. “We look forward to helping dealers deliver a great customer experience with our combined products and services.”

The companies did not disclose the value of the deal, but said it is “expected to be modestly dilutive to adjusted earnings per share in fiscal 2019 and accretive to adjusted earnings per share in fiscal 2020.”

The company will share more details after the deal closes, CDK said.

ELEAD1ONE provides business consulting and software to nearly 4,000 dealerships throughout North America. It is led by founders Hugh Hathcock (CEO) and Judy Hathcock (president).
