DRAIVER picks new VP of client success
DRAIVER, an AI logistics platform and driver marketplace, added Jim Bauman to its leadership team as vice president of client success. The company pointed out in a press release that Bauman "is an automotive, software, and rideshare industry veteran," with over two decades of experience in the former industries.
He most recently served as automotive partnerships lead at Uber for business, as well as formerly serving in leadership roles well known in the auto business, such as Dealer.com and LotLinx.
"Jim has a unique background as a leader in both automotive and rideshare," said DRAIVER CEO Zarif Haque in a press release. "His work in deepening our partnership with Uber and his thorough understanding of the automotive industry make him an excellent choice to set the tone and direction of our client success programs."
According to the company, the new VP will be "responsible for the success of the clients that depend on DRAIVER's vehicle movement technology and services," as well as build a customer onboarding program, and recruiting and leading a talented and experienced account management team.
The new hire has served in similar roles with both Dealer.com and Lotlinx. And the press release pointed out that Bauman has experience in working with many of DRAIVER's key partners already, which will give him a heads up in his new role.
Bauman shared in the hire announcement: "DRAIVER's patented technology that efficiently moves vehicles for fleet owners, rental companies, and dealerships impressed me from the first day I met Zarif. But technology is only part of the challenge in building a successful company in this industry.
"Giving clients the tools, knowledge, and service they need is my main goal and motivation. People matter. That's the dedication and experience I'll bring to this role."
In other news stemming from DRAIVER in 2021, as the year kicked off this past January, the company promoted veteran technology executive Anthony Monteiro from president of automotive retail to chief operating officer.
