Former Cox exec joins RunBuggy to lead business development and strategy
Open car transportation marketplace Run Buggy announced this week it has named of business development and strategy.
Having led business activities with for Cox Automotive's Ready Logistics and Central Dispatch, Bob Taar is no stranger to the automotive industry and his new position's demands.
"Bob's passion for creating client driven solutions, his significant domain knowledge and ability to build trusted relationships with clients will be valuable to RunBuggy as we continue to accelerate our growth in the automotive marketplace," RunBuggy chief executive officer Kevin Malik said in a news release
Taar first began at National Car Rental, which jumpstsrted a career into the remarketing and automotive logistics domain with key roles in sales, client success, operations and strategy that spanned almost three decades.
"I'm extremely excited and humbled to join the RunBuggy team to help support and drive the momentum that has already been established within the logistics and vehicle marketplace,” said Taar. "Digital capabilities that serve this marketplace with solutions that are needed is what excites me about this opportunity and I look forward to helping others join the impressive roster of existing RunBuggy clients, partners and carriers."
Taar joins a staff of over 150 full-time individuals located across the United States and abroad.
